Why we need four wheel alignment？


Four wheel alignment is not only related to four wheels. There should be an opposite position between the installation of four wheels, steering structure, front and rear wheels, whose data has been specified by manufacturers. To adjust this position is called four wheel alignment.

Then why we need four wheel alignment machines? In what occasion our cars require four wheel positioning?

Any parameter of four wheel alignment goes wrong, or any angle becomes a little bigger will have great influence in driving. So four wheel alignment is very important! It's common to see vehicles drive off the raceway. When you are driving straight ahead, your car itself deviates to left or right, which is very dangerous. When tires get weared and teared due to camber deviation, four wheel alignment is needed. And other occasions like the chassis and suspension injury caused by accidents, demolition of axle and suspension parts.

3D, CCD and laser four wheel alignment machine are mainstream products in the market, among which 3D wheel aligner is the most advanced. Three-dimension measurement technology is based on car body, which is more accurate and stable. No wiring and electronic components can avoid measurement problem caused by sensor failure or malfunction. And the measurement accuracy will not be effected by vehicle and lift platform parallelism. When measuring, no wheel and rim compensation needed, which improves accuracy, reliability and working efficiency. Two cameras work with four targets, which starts revolutionary measurement era. In addition, the machine only need one RCP calibration after installation, the procedure is simple and no periodic calibration needed.

We mainly produce three kinds of 3D wheel aligner, CX5-500, CX5-38S and CX5-380.
There are more than 20000 original databases around the world with a lifetime free update service. If you know the database for car model which is not in the list, manually input it. These three models support multi-languages, Chinese, English, Portuguese, Arabic, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Turkish, Russian, Thai, Persian. 

Both CX5-500 and CX5-38S support Android cell phone and laptop to show the vehicle measurement data, more convenient for operator. They have secondary jack-up function, which can be used to more conveniently help technician adjust camber. Ultra-low chassis and refit vehicle-Volos Wagon and Audi, XLWB and with ESP function vehicle are also can be measured. And their packing assistant camera helps guide the vehicle pack in specific location. The difference is that CX5-500 is equipped with automatic lifting pillar, which has two pieces of metal counter weight to efficiently lower motor working pressure, thus working long life.
 







Four wheel alignment machines mainly consist of host computer and necessary accessories, including target, turntable, wedge shaped pad, cabinet, computer, printer, clamps, lightning rod, U gasket, steer wheel&Brake holder, transition block and setscrew. 

 








What databases require adjustment?
What items need to be measured includes toe, camber, S.AI, caster and thrust angle.
1. Caster&S.A.I measurement: Sync measure caster, including angle and S.AI, which helps the operator to accurately analyze the status of vehicle's suspension system and assists four wheels' adjustment.
2. Body size measurement: detect the vehicle wheelbase, wheel track data, etc.. can help customers to understand the real condition of the vehicle chassis.
3. Wheel rolling radius measurement: to help the operator accurately exam the condition of tire pressure and tire wear.

4. Jack-up adjustment function: it's convenient for operator to jack up vehicles and ajust camber.  
Four wheel positioning helps to keep vehicles drive in a stable straight line and reduce tires and steering parts' wear and tear.



Four wheel alignment machine usually needs to work with wheel alignment car lift. And there are four post alignment lift and scissor alignment lift for options. Four post alignment lift will occupy space compared with scissor lift, but more economic.
